S&B 2’s went into the game against Bishops Stortford 6’s needing to win to keep their chance on winning the division alive. Unfortunately, a slow start allowed Stortford to score in the first few minutes which gave S&B an uphill battle against a fast and strong side. S&B came back strong bringing the game level. Anna Tutton struck the ball from a penalty corner for Neve Harrison on the post to stroke the ball home. 1-1 at half time.

The second half changed with Bishops Stortford rolling subs on and off while S&B tired with only one sub. The game was end to end but Stortford scored 3 without reply leaving the final score at 4-1 and Bishops Stortford were crowned division winners.

S&B ares still second will need to be at their best to maintain that spot with two tough final games against Colne and Upminster.
