The start to the new season has seen a good start from all teams with new youngsters coming up from the juniors and plenty of player movement between teams.

S&B 1’s were unbeaten in their first 3 games with 2 wins and a draw. The next 3 games saw only one more win, with two losses leaving them in a respectable 5th place with a record of P6, W3, D1, L2 and a goal difference of +4 and 10 points on the board. The next game is 4th v 5th as S&B take on Brentwood 1’s.

S&B 2’s had almost the reverse of the 1’s with 3 tough defeats and no goals scored with a tight loss to Brentwood 2’s sandwiched in between. However, they have recovered in their last two matches with hard fought wins taking them off the bottom of the table into 9th position. The next game sees them play Bishops Stortford 6’s in a 8th versus 9th clash.

S&B 3’s have only played 4 games due to a Bye week and a team dropping out of the division. A even record of 2 wins and 2 losses results in a current position of 6th with a tough away game on Saturday against 3rd placed Braintree 2’s.

Lastly, S&B 4’s have made the best start of all the S&B teams with an unblemished 100% record with 4 wins out of 4. This leaves them in 2nd position with a game in hand on top team Old Southendian ‘s and only 3 points behind. Their next games is at home against Chelmsford 7’s who are in 5th place.
