A successful summer league season saw S&B enter two teams in the Brentwood summer league with players mixing between the teams depending on availability.

S&B finished 1st and 2nd losing only one match each, with Maldon finishing a close third.

Meanwhile, the S&B Maldon summer team took the league right down to the wire playing Southend and Chelmsford in their last two games, the only teams to previously beat them. They first dispatched Chelmsford to give them a chance of winning the title against Southend, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. A loss meant that they finished in 3rd place only a fraction behind Chelmsford in 2nd.
