After a few tough matches in recent weeks, the team showed determination and confidence from the off and didn’t take any prisoners.
S&B’s superstar and left forward Hollie Wakeman, opening up the scoring by leaping, full stretch, in front of goal to poke the first ball away. If Superman had a sister…But oh no, she wasn’t happy with just one, Hollie was hungry for more and went on to slot another two beauties on to the back board to get herself the full hat-trick!

Naomi Barker soon added her fair share of goals with two open play strikes, Kerry Payton a wow deflection, Charlotte Brooks a top D strike and our newly signed player, Helena Taylor with her 90 year old Nana watching on, celebrated her debut goal after a thrilling one on one with the goal keeper in the second half. It was goals galore for these girls, Christmas had come early!

The S&B ladies' showcased their dominance throughout the whole match and put away a breathtaking eight wonder goals in total, highlighting their offensive prowess, while only conceding just the one goal all game.

For their teamwork and resilience, Lily King and Hollie Wakeman were awarded joint player of the match honoured for their key contributions in both scoring and midfield ball distribution.
