Southend & Benfleet hosted Tunbridge Wells on Saturday. It started as an even game with opportunities on both sides. The game changer came when Southend & Benfleet were awarded a penalty flick. Captain Kirsty Durban stepped up to the mark to score with a classic to the bottom left. In the second half there was more end-to-end action with S&B having to defend a number of penalty corners. Chloe Harris was awarded player of the match for relentless energy in midfield. Captain Kirsty Durban said "Another strong performance from the 1s today".
