Southend & Benfleet ladies 1s were back on form winning 5-1 against Redbridge 1s. S&B were 1-0 up at half time after a goal from Kirsty Edmunds. In the second half Sarah Conway scored from a pass from Edmunds. Redbridge scored a breakaway goal from open play. S&B quickly went 4-1 up after goals from Conway and Felicity Galbally from penalty corners. Kirsty Edmunds got her brace in the final minutes, picking up a cleared ball in midfield, weaving through the Redbridge defence and sending it left corner. It was a great game for the mother and daughter team as Georgia Durban won player of the match.
