Southend & Benfleet lost 5-2 at home to division leaders Basildon in East 2SE. Basildon opened the scoring but Karen Burgess levelled shortly after with her first goal for S&B. With some quick attacking play Basildon were 4-1 up at half-time. Southend & Benfleet managed to slow them down in the second half when Burgess scored her second goal after a cross from Adèle Cole. Basildon scored once again from a short corner to finish 5-2. Player of the match was Caitlin Meredith.
