With both teams languishing at the bottom of the league this was an important match. Southend & Benfleet scored first when Adèle Coke found Karen Burgess who reverse clipped the ball into the goal. Despite player of the match Rachel Jeffery working hard in the centre Redbridge took a convincing 4-1 lead at half-time. Convinced they could do better Southend & Benfleet came back after half time only for kirsty Durban to be injured putting them down to 10 players. Final score 5-1 to the home team.
