Southend & Benfleet had a convincing win over fourth placed Tunbridge Wells. Captain and player of the match Kirsty Durban was on fire as she set the first two goals up. Durban first found Kendall Colman on the penalty spot who rushed the ball over the line. Five minutes later it was the turn of Chloe Syvrett to push the ball into the bottom right corner. A penalty corner was awarded in favour of S&B. Rachel Jeffery injected to Lily Cole who passed back to Jeffery to score the away side’s third goal. With a comfortable lead S&B went into the second half knowing that they couldn’t let their lead slip away. Tunbridge managed to score a consolatory goal but nothing was going to stop a much needed win for S&B.
