The Fabulous Fours knew this would be a challenging match against R&I’s only team who have some experienced players. S&B settled straight into the game and were consistently maintaining possession. Midfielders Lexi, Katie, Isla & Sofia working together and providing many goal scoring opportunities but R&I’s defence and goal keeper just kept thwarting Claire & Lesley’s advances. First half finishing 0-0.

A few minutes into the second half and R&I converted a penalty corner, using their strong striker & smashing the ball straight on target. Even though the remainder of the game rarely left R&I’s half, S&B just couldn’t get past the heavily defended goal and the game finished with a frustrating 1-0 loss. POM awarded to Lexi Harrison.
